Victor and Judith Herbert the creators of ‘H I B O U’ have been fortunate enough to spend their career in Art and Design. Victor graduated from the RCA with a medal for work of special distinction and after a period of design research formed his own clothing label and became designer of the year in 1980. Since then he concentrated on design consultancy and practised world wide for many major international brands. He created the first boutique interior for Harrods ‘Way In’ and many fashion stores including the Stirling Cooper Dance Bazaar, Swatch Watch in Nantucket and the original ‘Joseph’ shop in South Molton Street, London.

Throughout his career he has advised many businesses on their design process and branding, which is where he met his wife, Judith. She was working for Courtaulds Textiles as the design director for their successful lingerie group. Judith and Victor have worked fervently to unite fashion and art, sharing all that has inspired them over the years, always ahead of their time, standing apart from current trends, creating their own unique style. Together their passion for interiors, art and design has led them to create HIBOU ART INTERIORS……
